About the Role

Join a dynamic, mission-driven Fortune 500 company as the Director of Enterprise and Business Technologies. Lead the evolution of digital and business technology platforms at scale, shaping strategy, partnering with executives, and delivering best-in-class solutions that power business growth, operational excellence, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with enterprise goals and overall organizational vision.
• Lead the modernization of core systems (ERP, CRM, AI/automation, digital workplace platforms).
• Guide cross-functional technology teams and manage project portfolios for impactful, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centric design.
• Build and maintain vendor partnerships and drive contract negotiations.
• Champion the adoption of agile methodologies, scalable architectures, and best practices in data management, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Manage departmental budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and technology spend.
• Report to the Chief Information Officer.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of relevant technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a director or senior manager role overseeing enterprise technology or digital transformation.
• Proven success leading large-scale product or technology strategy for enterprise applications or platforms.
• Deep understanding of business process reengineering, digital transformation, and systems integration.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with executive leadership and across stakeholder groups.
• Strong mentoring skills and experience building and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience with modern platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, SAP MDM, and tools like Jira, Alteryx, Mulesoft, automation, data analytics, and AI.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.

Preferred Attributes

• Track record of implementing change management programs and fostering an innovation-driven culture.
• Familiarity with ITIL, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Prior experience in wholesale distribution, construction services and/or underground infrastructure.
