Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests to ensure our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementation meets the required standards and functions correctly.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Analyze Requirements: Understand and analyze business and technical requirements to create test scenarios and test cases.
Develop Test Scripts: Design, develop, and document test scripts. Ensure the regression scripts are formatted for automation tools.
Execute Tests: Run tests, analyze results, and report defects.
Collaborate: Work closely with developers, Automation Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compatibility and functionality of the system.
Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain logs to document testing phases and defects.
Post-Release Testing: Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure the system operates as expected.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing to continuously improve testing processes.
Assist team lead with managing team responsibilities when leadership deems necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 5+ years of related experience.
Proven experience in quality assurance testing particularly in Microsoft Dynamics 365
Excellent understanding of D365 F&O modules and integration points.
Proficient in test management tools.
Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Experience in an Agile software methodology shop.
Strong understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies, including functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and browsers.
Familiarity with API testing concepts and ability to validate data flows between services.
Knowledge of Agile and iterative development practices (Scrum or Kanban) and how testing fits into the lifecycle.
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with business requirements.
Exposure to performance and security testing concepts is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools for managing test cases, tracking defects, and collaborating across teams.
Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or related technologies.
