Distribution Trainee Program - Waterworks
For recent college grads, this two-year rotational program allows trainees to experience multiple branches, positions and leaders. Trainees begin with a kick-off where they meet their manager, set expectations and begin their first year. At the close of the first year, they relocate to a different branch where they learn new skills and continue their development. They also complete a culmination project, based on a real world challenge, where they solve a business problem with other trainees and subject matter experts throughout the organization. They report out their project to the senior leadership at the annual Leadership Summit.

For recent college grads, this 18-month program allows trainees to rotate through multiple roles to understand the fire protection business. Trainees begin with a kick-off where they meet their manager, set expectations and begin their first year. They also receive a culmination project, based on a real-world challenge, where they work with other trainees and subject matter experts throughout the organization. They report out their project to the senior leadership team.
Metering & Technology Program
Our Metering & Technology Program is designed to blend coursework, manufacturer training, program driven projects, and fieldwork with a mentor, as well as solo field activities. The program objective is to provide the necessary basic and specific knowledge required to begin a successful career pioneering application of technology goods, services and solutions built to modernize utility processes and capabilities.
Internships
Our Summer Internship is a 12-week paid program with both corporate and field learning opportunities. Through our Summer Internship Program, students have the ability to contribute to solutions and processes that impact the communities in which we work and live.
